THE VENUE HISTORY:
The Robinson Manor was built in 1909 by Dr. Robinson as a community hospital. In the 1950s the building was purchased by the Elks and became the Allegan Elks Lodge. It was sold in 2010 and sat vacant until our family saw this gem of a building and fell in love with the rich history and unique architecture.
In 2017 we took a leap of faith and purchased the building. Soon after the purchase we started the task of renovating it. We thought the best use for this facility was to use it to benefit the community as it had for over 100 years. What better way to do this than to create a beautiful space that the local community and neighboring communities could hold their weddings, receptions, birthday parties, reunions, meetings, conferences, funerals, or the many other uses for the space.
In addition to renting the space. We hope to host our own community events. Outdoor/indoor family friendly music, community fundraisers, dances, themed parties, haunted house, Santa visit during Christmas. We want this space to be a place of gathering and happiness for everyone who visits.
FACILITY DETAILS AND RENTAL INFORMATION:
-Approximately 3000sq feet of rental space available (First Floor Only).
-Maximum guest occupancy - 130
-Projection screen and AV cart Available for rent.
-Rates include manor provided tables and chairs with choice of black or white table and chair linens. 8ft and 6ft rectangle, and 5ft round tables available for use.
-Looking to save costs on catering? At the Robinson Manor you may bring your own food. Food preparation is not allowed on site. However, if you choose to bring your pre-prepared food we provide a commercial warmer and cooler for you.
-Don't want the work of preparing and arranging service of your own food? We can suggest excellent catering services from the area.
-Alcohol: Although a licensed caterer is preferred, you may bring in your own alcohol. You must have the alcohol served by a TiPS certified server, and you must show proof of your own Host Liquor Liability Insurance Coverage (commonly included in home owners policies).

*Typical wedding reception is 10 to 12 hours. When calculating the number of hours be sure to consider your setup and clean-up time.
